Frequently Asked Questions
We’ve put together a growing list of frequently asked questions to help you with the booking process!
How many litres should I order for my event?*
A good way to work out what is an adequate and responsible amount of alcohol to serve at your event is to match the amount of litres to the amount of people you are expecting. It is best to exclude non-drinkers from this calculation. Also take into consideration the duration of your event and how long your beverages need to last.

Example:
20 people
Litres
20L - 30L
Total standard drinks
85 - 127
Drinks per person
4 - 6*
Based on an event duration of 4-5 hours
The average beer/cider and seltzer keg is 50L (200 standard drinks)
The average wine keg is 30L (120 standard drinks)
Cocktails come in:
-
10L kegs (42 standard drinks)
-
20L kegs (85 standard drinks)

*Recommended serving sizes will vary depending on the duration of your event. It is illegal to supply an excessive amount of alcohol.
Please refer to our pricelist for exact keg sizes.

Is there a travel fee?
We do charge a travel fee for locations over 1 hour out of the Adelaide CBD.

Do we need to pack up the trailer/keg wall?
Nope! We will facilitate all set up and will pack/clean up upon pick up. If you are hiring our trailer overnight, we ask that you please close it up once you have finished using it. Hirers are responsible for any items that may be vandalised or stolen if the trailer is not properly stowed away.
Do you cater to allergies?
We try our best to ensure that our equipment is thoroughly cleaned between uses and that we use allergen free ingredients where possible. However some of our products main ingredients are wheat and dairy e.g. beer, espresso martinis. Some of our syrups are also manufactured in facilities where they may have come into contact with other allergens such as nuts and grains.
Please let us know if you or any of your guests have allergies as we will advise the best course of action. If we are not advised, it is your responsibility to ensure your guests safety. We strongly recommend not drinking our beverages if you have severe, life-threatening allergies.
Hygiene
As our cocktail kegs are reusable, hygiene is of utmost importance to us. No one but our staff should come in contact with our kegs before, during or after hire and we do not allow hirers to install our equipment. The kegs are only to be cleaned and filled by Goodies Cocktails staff.
Reusable kegs are cleaned with food grade disinfectant between each use to ensure there is never any risk of contamination.
Do you provide dry hire?
Yes! Licensed venues are welcome to hire our trailer or keg walls to use with their own tapping equipment and kegs. Please email hi@goodiescocktails.com.au to enquire.
Can we hire glassware from Goodies?
No, unfortunately we do not hire out glassware. We do supply biodegradable BioPak cups for every event unless you request otherwise.
18th birthdays
Unfortunately we do not service 18th birthdays as we cannot guarantee that minors will not be partaking.
